From Antiquity To The Stars was created by Angelo Niosi as a way to collect his many creative and intellectual projects. The name was inspired by a line from the show Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, “Science is a cooperative enterprise spanning the generations. It’s the passing of a torch from teacher to student to teacher. A community of minds, reaching back to antiquity and forward to the stars.” -Ann Druyan and Steven Soter.

Angelo is passionate about science, critical thinking, and skepticism, subjects which he studied while pursuing degrees in Liberal Arts and Natural Science including a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior.

“I explore a broad range of issues which allow me to exercise my critical thinking skills, encompassing an understanding of history, philosophy, logic, and argumentation, reaching back to antiquity, and scientific thinking, on which we can travel to the stars. Furthermore, I feel strongly that, as citizens of this planet, we must know how to make decisions on important and complex issues in politics, science, and health. I know of no better tools to do so, than those of critical and scientific thinking. I make no claims to be an expert in anything, but instead, a humble lover of learning and wisdom with a passion to share this wisdom with others so that they may learn from my methods of exploration, and so that I may learn from others, who may have a better command of these skills, or a different point of view.” -Angelo Niosi

Angelo’s projects include The Science Communication Project, From Antiquity to The Stars, and SkepFit each with corresponding websites, YouTube Channels, and Facebook pages.

Angelo also creates digital videos as well as digital images for use in flyers, infographics, presentations, posters, books and websites. In addition, Angelo writes, presents, teaches, and speaks about critical thinking, science, and skepticism, and is involved with the growing skeptic movement. .
